Kevin Biesinger
Will start his sophomore season after completion of his L.D.S Mission. As a freshman in 2005, he placed third overall in the Mountain West Conference Championships in the 400m with a time of 47.63. He followed that up with a 14th place finish at the USATF Junior Nationals. H.S. The greatest 400m runner in Bingham history, he is the school record holder in the 400m dash at 48.61. He is also number two all-time in the 200m at 22.18 and on the number two all-time 4x400m Relay team. He is a four time Region Champion in the 400m and 4x400m Relay. He earned All-State honors as a senior placing second in the 400m while also placing fourth in the 200m, and anchoring the second place 4x400m Relay. As a junior, he was third in the 400m. Career bests include: 100m: 11.13, 200m: 22.18, 400m 48.61, 800m: 2:02.46.
Ryan Merriman
In his freshman year, he earned a spot on the travel team this season in cross country and ended as the number eight runner. Finished with an 8K PR of 24:19. In track he was an NCAA Western Regional qualifier in the 3000m Steeplechase with a PR of 9:12.91, good for #4 on the team. He also ran a 14:24.05 in the 5000m, good for #2 on the team. H.S. A top flight distance runner, he is the school record holder in the 5000m at 15:53.50. He is also number six all time in the 3200m at 9:26.71. He is also the fourth fastest Bingham runner all-time at the Region Cross Country course. He was the Region Champion in the 3200m as a senior while also earning All-State honors in cross country with a 6th place finish. He scored in the top eight State in both the 1600m and 3200m during his and senior season, and in the 3200m as a junior. He was an English Sterling Scholar and the Editor of our school paper, The Prospector. Career bests include: 800m: 2:05.34, 1600m: 4:29.36, 3200m: 9:26.71, 5000m: 15:53.50.
