Dear Jeff,
Congratulations to you and your girls cross-country team. The Harrier's Foot Locker/adidas Super 25 National Rankings are finalized for this season, and Bingham is number-1 in the nation for 1999.
Bingham distinguished itself with an undefeated season against strong opposition, runaway state title and of course the big victory at the Great American Classic in Charlotte vs. many of the nation's top-ranked teams.
I know how hard your squad worked for many months to achieve a superior level of excellence. Please congratulate all the girls on behalf of The Harrier, and best wishes for continuing success.
My final fall issue with all the rankings and Foot Locker coverage will probably be mailed on Tuesday, which means you may not receive it before school closes for the holidays. If you like, fax me your home address and I'll mail some issues there.
