SUPPLEMENTAL TRAINING
Every Cross Country runner should accomplish a minimum of 50 push-ups and 150 sit-ups per day!! Abdominal strength is imperative in Cross Country, and feel free to increase either or both of those goals at will.
Also, weights are available at Marv Jenson. Our typical circuit approach to weights is great. If you need a copy of it. . .see any of the coaches! This is one of the best times you can have to increase strength. Many tough teams we compete against rely on weight work!
