| The Zeigle twins traveled to New York this weekend to compete in the 2001 National Scholastic Indoor Championships and became the first two Utahns to win National Indoor Track Titles when Jackie won the mile in 5:00.21 and 2 hours later Laura won the 2 mile in a season leading national time of 10:26.68. Both girls pulled away from the fields to win convincingly in this national finals race. The two Bingham juniors anchored the 1999 National Championship Cross Country team which was ranked fourth in the country this year. |
