| "Runner of the Week" is a new award for 1999 designed to honor one male and female athlete on the Cross Country team who has distinguished themselves during the preceding week with a performance that is outstanding. This effort may or may not be given when winning a race, but is shown through exemplary individual effort which, for that individual, was exceptional. |
