In 2002 the race course was moved to Morley Field, Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
In 1998 the race course was changed to Oak Trail's Golf Course at Shades of Green, Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida.
Prior to 1998 the race course was Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
Prior to 1993, these championships were know as the Kinney Cross Country Championships.
