24 HOUR RUN TEAM FUNDRAISER -- November 5 - 6, 1999
Athletes and Supporters of Bingham Cross Country:
The 1999 '24-Hour Run' fundraiser for Bingham Cross Country was an overwhelming success due to the efforts of many dedicated athletes on our team and the help of generous contributors who supported the effort through financial pledges. The funds raised will give the team an opportunity to provide another exciting year for the athletes who give so much to make our school and community proud.
This year's team set a new standard by over 10 miles, running 260 miles in the allotted 24-hour time frame. Although specific records for the event are difficult to detect, this is the farthest known distance for a track relay with high schoolers or collegians.
